About Me
Aloha! My name is Charlie Koh, and I'm currently a rising junior at Punahou Schools, Hawaii. I'm passionate about sustainability and engineering, specifically exploring the intersection between robotics and sustainability. Apart from sustainability and robotics, I really enjoy paddling, designing custom engineering projects, weightlifting, and entrepreneurship.
Engineering and Sustainability Journey

August 2022 - May 2024
6962 PokeBolts Design Lead - After joining 6962 the PokeBolts, I was immediately moved to a design leadership position. During our 2024-2025 season (Into The Deep) and our reformed team, we won states, made it to semi-finals at World Championship, and topped it off with some awards at Worlds (Think, 3rd Jemison) - the furthest any team from Hawaii has ever made it.
Participation in Punahou Sustainability Fellowship - While I've had previous ventures in Sustainability, specifically looking at the supplementation of existing educational systems for both sustainability and engineering, this was a more hardcore and deep dive into the intricacies of sustainability.
Founding Keiki Engineering Kits - As a student blessed enough to have access to Punahou's many opportunities, I understood that not everyone was blessed enough to have access to all the numerous engineering and sustainability educational resources as I was. So I started Keiki Engineering Kits, an educational non-profit directed at increasing the accessibility for sustainability and engineering education.
Introduction to Robotics - While I've always had a passion for STEM, this was my first introduction to robotics, participating on various robotics teams before moving up to join 6962, the PokeBolts.
